2019 Bassmaster Opens Tournament Set to Kick Off in Leesburg

LEESBURG, Fla. — The 2019 Bassmaster Opens tournament is once again scheduled to kick off on the Lake Harris chain in Leesburg.

B.A.S.S. recently announced information regarding the upcoming 2019 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Open Series beginning January 24th of next year.

Similar to last year, nine tournaments will be featured in the upcoming Open Series. Consisting of two divisions of four tournaments each and a year-end championship.

Kicking off the Eastern Division on January 24th, 2019 in the Harris Chain of Lakes in Leesburg, FL, another chance to earn a spot in the 2020 Bassmaster Classic will be given to aspiring bass anglers.

Moving forward, the Central Division will be held on world-renowned Toledo Bend Reservoir in Many, LA beginning February 20th, 2019.

One of the top spotted bass fisheries in the United States, Smith Lake, located off the Black Warrior River in Alabama will be B.A.S.S’s next stop — April 25th through 27th.
