Lake County announces Christmas and New Year holiday hours and closures

TAVARES —All offices of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, Property Appraiser, Tax Collector and the Lake County Supervisor of Elections will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26 and onMonday, Jan. 2.

To coincide with holiday closures of state offices at the Lake County Courthouse, the Lake County Clerk of Court’s Office will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2.

The following Lake County Library System branch and member libraries will be closed on the listed dates:

• Astor County Library: Dec. 23-26 and Jan. 2
• Cagan Crossings Community Library: Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 2
• East Lake County Library: Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 2
• Marion Baysinger Memorial County Library: Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 2
• Paisley County Library: Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 2
• Helen Lehmann Memorial Library,: Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 2
• Lady Lake Public Library: Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 2
• Minneola Schoolhouse Library: Dec. 24-26 and Dec. 30
• Umatilla Public Library: Dec. 24-26, Dec. 30 and Jan. 2
• Leesburg Public Library: Dec. 23-26 and Jan. 2.
• Marianne Beck Memorial Library: Dec. 24-26 and Dec. 31–Jan. 2
• Tavares Public Library: Dec. 23-26; and Dec. 30–Jan. 2.
• W.T. Bland Public Library: Dec. 23-26 and Jan. 2.The following libraries will have special holiday hours, as follows:

• Cooper Memorial Library: Open from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Dec. 19-22 and Dec. 27-29; Closed Dec. 23-26and Dec. 30–Jan. 2.
• Fruitland Park Library: Open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Dec. 20-21; Open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Dec. 22; Open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Dec. 28; Open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Dec. 30; Closed Dec. 23-26 and Jan. 2.
