Grand Theft Auto: Wildwood

WILDWOOD – Sumter County Sheriffs responded to a call at the Wildwood Terrace Apartments at 500 Gilliam St in Wildwood on Saturday night where they confronted 27-year-old, Joshua Caleb Sturgill for allegedly stealing his sister’s Dodge Caravan.

After speaking to Deputies, Sturgill admitted that he took his sister’s minivan without her permission. At approximately 10:30 p.m., Sturgill was arrested and charged with a felony count of grand theft of a motor vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex.

Sturgill was previously wanted in Marion County on a felony violation of probation warrant stemming from a previous grand theft charge according to a Facebook post by Crime Stoppers of Marion County.

Sturgill is being held at the Sumter County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond. where he remains as of the time of this post.
