A popular Ocala periodontist is seeking help from the public to identify two women who pretended to be trying to help their grandmother with a dental issue, but robbed his office instead.
Dr Jamie Amir has issued a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the two women, one of which was captured on video at his office.
Amir told police that the two black females entered his offices at 4600 SW 46th Ct. at 10:17 am, asking about making an appointment for their grandmother, who was having problems with her dental implants, One of the women asked to use the restroom. At about 1 pm a staff member discovered that the woman had entered the staff break room and stolen cash, wallets, and credit cards from the purses of his employees.
Amir reported that later it was discovered that by 10:37am the women began ringing up purchases at a local Best Buy and drained the bank accounts of several of his staff.

There was a camera in the main reception area, but it was disconnected. Amir said he did have a camera in the break room and captured an image of the woman. Ocala police responded, checked for fingerprints and filed reports. A video was turned over showing the woman in the act of taking the items from staff lockers.
