City of Leesburg Celebrates National Night Out 2016

LEESBURG – The City of Leesburg is celebrating the 33rd Annual National Night Out along with many other communities nationwide.

The event will be held at the Susan Street Sports Complex located at 940 Susan Street in Leesburg from 5 pm until 8 pm on October 4th.

National Night Out is a family fun event that is geared toward bringing the community together with police, neighbors and service providers to have fun while promoting partnerships and preventing crime.

Last year’s celebration was a success in Leesburg with hundreds of locals coming out to join in the fun. This year, Leesburg city officials announce they will have an amazing bike stunt show featuring Chris Clark, Dance shows, a caricature artist, balloon artists, a bounce house, stilt walkers, a photo booth, rock wall climbing, face painting, a petting zoo, live performances, free giveaways, food and even a visit from the ShandsCair helicopter as well as other surprises.

The event is sponsored by the Leesburg Police Department, the National Association of Town Watch, and by Jenkins Auto Group.
