LEESBURG – Leesburg High School will be hosting a Quarter Mania fundraiser to help the members of the Leesburg High Choir raise funds.
The fundraiser will include drinks and food for everyone as well as an opportunity to bid on items donated from many local direct sales representatives such as Jamberry, doTERRA, Pampered Chef, Plexus Slim, Origami Owl, Thirty One, LuLaRoe, Advocare, Scentsy, It Works, Premier Designs, and more.
The event will be held at the high school lunchroom located at 1401 Yellow Jacket Way in Leesburg on November 29th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
For those of you who have never attended a “Quarter Mania” auction, the process is simple. When you arrive, you purchase as many auction paddles as you want at $5 each. When an item comes up for auction, the auctioneer will announce how many quarters it is worth. The quarters go on a value scale as follows:
1 Quarter bid = $10 – $25
2 Quarter bid = $26 – $50
3 Quarter bid = $51 – $75
4 Quarter bid = $76 – $100
A choir member will walk around with a bucket to collect quarter bids. If you want to bid on the item, you place the amount of quarters equal to the value and raise one of your paddles in the air.
The auctioneer will then select a random number and if you have that number on your paddle, the item is yours!
