LEESBURG, Fla. – A local family is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who can help find their missing family member.
Paula Parsons reached out to Facebook offering the reward after her 1-year-old German Shepard-Lab mix, “Blondie”, went missing from their suburban home near Radio Road in Leesburg on June 22.
Parsons stated that she last saw Blondie at home wearing a pink harness that had her vet and I.D. tags.
After posting on Facebook, Parson’s post was shared hundreds of times. Approximately twenty locals gathered near ViaPort Mall to help organize a search on July 1st.
Unfortunately, the search group was unable to find the beloved family member.
Parsons is offering the reward to anyone who can help lead to Blondie’s whereabouts or bring Blondie home.
Blondie is described as being a fully blonde German Shepard-Lab mix and weighs approximately 80 pounds. Parsons also stated that she is a very friendly pup and will come right up to you when called.
Family members are asking anyone that sees Blondie or knows her whereabouts to contact them at (352)874-5374 or by email at tblondie83@aol.com.
If you would like to help in the search for Blondie, you can join Parsons and many other residents on their Facebook group, Bring Blondie Home.
