LEESBURG, Fla. — Two men were arrested Friday in connection with two armed robbery cases from Marion County according to the Leesburg Police Department.
Officers with the Leesburg Police Department and S.W.A.T. ended a covert surveillance operation with two arrests at a Wal-Mart in Leesburg.
Investigators conducted the covert operation over the weekend after receiving warrants for the arrest of 25-year-old Cordell Allen.
Officers located Allen at the Leesburg Wal-Mart and took him into custody.
During the investigation, officers also arrested 25-year-old Tevin Bostic.
Allen was charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm. He was transported to the Lake County Jail where he remains without bond until he is transferred to the Marion County Jail.
Bostic was charged with driving with a suspended license.
Bostic was transported to the Lake County Jail where he was later released after posting a $1,000 bond.
