OCALA — Thursday afternoon the Ocala police were investigating a shooting at Green Gables Apartment Complex.
Reports to Star Banner stated that the residents took cover and called police after hearing five or six rapid gunshots.
Later on officials were notified that a gunshot victim had been dropped off at the local hospital.
The male victim did not have fatal injuries, but the detectives have not stated how many times he was shot.
Nothing unusual was found at the apartment complex, and no further information regarding the victim has been released at this time.
