MOUNT DORA — Mount Dora officials are searching for a suspect wanted in an abduction that occurred late Sunday night according to police.
The female victim was reportedly abducted while walking in the area of Highland Street and 9th Avenue at approximately 9:49 p.m. Sunday night.
The victim told police that while walking, a hispanic male approached her from behind, grabbed her by the neck, and took her in the back yard of a nearby residence.
The victim managed to escape from her abductor when he left her alone.
Officers released the following sketch of the suspect according to the victim’s detailed description.
