LAKE PANASOFFKEE, Fla. – The Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County is pairing with the original Bob Evans restaurant for “Dine to Make a Difference” Tuesday, August 15th.
The event is intended to raise funds for the HS/SPCA’s public assistance programs, such as their free meals for hungry pets fund. Donations will also be used to help pay for veterinary care and sheltering needs for animals in need. The “Dine to Make a Difference” event has raised over $5,000 for the HS/SPCA in the past.
Participants are required to bring the event flyer, which will be presented to the restaurant at the time of their dining experience. The restaurant will donate 15% of the proceeds from receipts attached to the event flyers to the HS/SPCA. To get a copy of the event flyer, interested parties are advised to print it off from the HS/SPCA’s website or Facebook pages, stop by the shelter, or drop by any of their tabling events prior to the Bob Evans Community Fundraiser.
Attendees are invited to bring their families, friends, coworkers, and other acquaintances. The event is scheduled to last from 6:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m, and is good for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and take-out orders.
The original Bob Evans restaurant is located Parr Drive/CR 466 in The Villages.
