BUSHNELL, Fla. — A Bushnell man was pronounced dead after his truck overturned shortly after midnight Thursday morning according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
Troopers responded to the area near County Road 575 and County Road 663 in Bushnell to find 22-year-old Devin Dubbs in serious condition.
According to the report, Dubbs was driving southbound on County Road 575 in his 1997 Mazda b2300 pickup truck when for an unknown reason, he failed to negotiate a curve causing the truck to leave the roadway.
The vehicle crashed through some traffic signs and overturned ejecting Dubbs out of the vehicle.
Dubbs was transported to Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson where he was later pronounced dead due to injuries he sustained in the accident.
According to the report, Dubbs was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident.
Troopers believe the incident was alcohol-related.
