CLERMONT, Fla. — On Saturday, September 29 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., the City of Clermont will be hosting the Senior Expo and Health Fair at the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center
This is a free community event for older adults, caregivers, their families, and professionals which showcases exhibitors representing community resources, health, housing, financial and legal assistance, end-of-life considerations, long-term care services, travel and leisure, volunteer/employment opportunities, and more.
They will have multiple vendors, including insurance plans, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Health, Travel Agents, and from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m., an Elvis impersonator.
The Clermont Police Department, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and Cornerstone Hospice will be conducting a CarFit program in the parking lot.
Last year there were approximately 300 people that attended the Expo and this year they are looking forward to about 5oo.
They will offer free health tests including a balance screening, blood pressure checks, free massage, and chiropractic information.
There will be 50 door prizes of $15 gift certificates or gift baskets.
Each table will have some type of giveaway and information about the businesses attending.
