Coastal Residents in Good Spirits as Hurricane Matthew Gets Closer

JACKSONVILLE – Florida has been very fortunate to not see the effects of a hurricane in quite some time. But we all remember the news anchors that appear on TV when it does happen.

News anchors stand out in high winds and rain in severe storms to report the conditions of the storms, a practice that some people believe to be unnecessary.

Now, with Hurricane Matthew on the path of Florida’s east coast, a man decided to report their version of the hurricane forecast.

In the video, Steve Holt, a Jacksonville resident, plays the role of a weather reporter reporting live from the heart of Hurricane Matthew. The video, which was shot in 4K super high definition by his son Lee Holt, owner of Holt Media Productions, first posted the video on Facebook where it quickly reached over 2,700 views in the first hour.

You can see the video above and on Holt’s YouTube channel.
