Coffee & Conversations to be hosted at the Lake County Animal Shelter

TAVARES, Fla. — Lake County Commissioner Sean Parks and Lake County School Board Member Sandy Gamble are inviting the public to attend Coffee & Conversations, a community outreach meeting to be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 30 at the Lake County Animal Shelter at 28123 County Road 561, Tavares.

Commissioner Parks regularly hosts Coffee & Conversations as a convenient opportunity for residents to speak one-on-one with officials regarding various topics.

Residents will have the opportunity to learn about shelter operations, its recent no-kill success and meet adoptable shelter pets. The shelter provides for public safety and animal welfare, promotes responsible pet ownership, reunites lost pets with their families and helps people select a new furry friend. The shelter is the countywide receiving facility for housing strays, animals in quarantine and unwanted domestic animals.
