Deputies Warn Residents Near Radio Road in Leesburg to Stay in Their Homes

LEESBURG – Deputies are asking residents to stay in their home while they block off a portion of Radio Road in Leesburg Wednesday afternoon.

According to deputies, the Lake County Crisis Command Unit was dispatched to an undisclosed area near Radio Road in attempts to make contact with a subject who deputies believe pose a danger to themselves.

Deputies and Citizens On Patrol volunteers are on the scene redirecting traffic around the area while deputies attempt to make contact.

Deputies do not believe the general public is in any danger at this moment, however, are urging residents to stay in their homes and off of the roads in the area as a precaution.
