OCALA, Fla. — September 15th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Ocala Parks and Recreation will be hosting the End of Summer Bash for local families.
This farewell to summer event will feature food trucks, live music, crafts and numerous vendors including many community non-profits.
Main events featured will a soap box derby, slingshot painting, human foozball and giant sand sculpting.
Other classic summer activities to look forward to include a giant bubble station, skate park ramps, face painting, giant twister and much more.
Event attendance is free, but patrons are encouraged to bring cash for food, drink and craft vendors.
All profits from alcohol sales at the Bash will benefit the Let Them Play Fund which provides summer camp and recreation scholarships for local children through the parks department. Learn more about this scholarship fund at
Fun for the whole family, this event will be located at Ocala’s Tuscawilla Park, 829 NE Sanchez Ave.
Those looking to bring their four-legged family members are asked to keep dogs leashed and off of the playground areas.
