COLEMAN – Sumter County Deputies discovered human remains of who they believe belonged to a white male in his early to mid-twenties in a ditch off of CR 514 just outside of the Coleman city limits on Friday afternoon according to a press release.
The body was found to be in an advanced state of decomposition, the release stated.
Deputies were able to identify the body, however, are not releasing the name of the victim until next of kin is notified.
A cause of death has not yet been determined, however, detectives stated they believe he died under suspicious circumstances.
