Leesburg Motorcycle Accident Victim Dies From Injuries

LEESBURG – A Leesburg woman who was involved in a motorcycle accident in front of the Bealls on US 27 Saturday night passed away as a result of her injuries sustained in the collision.

Leesburg Police officials have now identified the female victim as 54-year-old Lori Dudley.

Dudley was riding on her 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle Saturday night when she was struck by a silver 1997 Saturn station wagon. The two occupants of the Saturn fled the scene on foot. One of the occupants, believed to be the passenger, was caught by LPD officers.

Dudley was transported by ambulance to the Leesburg Regional Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.

Leesburg Police Officers are still searching for the driver of the vehicle described as a Hispanic male wearing a red shirt and name tag.
