LEESBURG – City of Leesburg officials announced that city offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th.
“I join our city commissioners and staff in wishing all residents of the lakefront city a fun, safe holiday,” said City Manager Al Minner.
Garbage, yard waste, bulk items, appliance or recycling collection will also not run on those days.
City offices and waste collection will resume normal business hours on Monday, November 28th.
The Leesburg Public Library will also be closing in observance of Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 23rd and will resume on Saturday, November 26th.
