MARION COUNTY – Marion County officials are urging anyone who lives on the east end of the county in a non-site-built home (mobile home) to evacuate to one of the provided shelters due to the recent change and new stronger wind advisories as a result of Hurricane Matthew.

If you are going to a pet-friendly shelter, officials ask that you bring your pet’s food, proof of updated vaccination information, and any supplies you need for your pets. Pets must be kept in cages and pet owners must remain with their pets, no drop offs.
