A milk truck transporting 40,000 gallons of milk crashed this morning at 3:30 am at the intersection of CR 469 and SR 50 in Sumter County, spilling half of its load onto the road.
The FHP said the ASN Grain milk truck was going sounth on CR 469 toward SR 50 when the driver, Kenneth G. McMillian, 74, from Millen, Georgia, lost control and crossed through the intersection and overturned onto the shoulder of SR 50.
McMillian was transported to South Lake Hospital at treated for minor injuries.
