Mission Oaks Hosting Dual Pet Supply Drive and Adoption Day

OXFORD – A pet supply and adoption drive will be held Wednesday, April 5, at the Mission Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care in Oxford on Highway 301. The drive begins at 10 a.m and is scheduled to last until 1 p.m.

Pet owners will be able to speak with presenters at the event about various topics, from the needs of their pets to concerns over their four-legged friend’s welfare during the lifetime of both owner and pet. Presenters include Amy Pittman of the Pittman Family Law Firm, Lisa Grey of the Pet Peace of Mind/Cornerstone Hospice program and Claudia Labbe of the Humane Society/SPCA.

The drive is expected to benefit the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County. Pet-related supplies will be accepted as donations, and interested adopters will have an opportunity to meet currently available dogs and cats. Refreshments will be served for attendees. Tours of the Mission Oaks facility are available by appointment for interested parties.
