MOUNT DORA, Fla. — The City of Mount Dora and 103.1FM “The Wolf” have partnered once again to host the annual Freedom on the Waterfront Independence Day event to kick off their ay celebrations.
The event will begin on July 3 at 5 p.m. at Elizabeth Evans Park and will end with a fireworks show at 9:20 p.m. over Lake Dora.
There will also be live performances by the 13th Army Band and Spayed Hoolie performing on the stage.
Attendees can enjoy a large selection of delicious meals from the various food trucks while children play in the KidsZone.
Free public parking will be available and will include shuttle services to and from the reserved parking lots. Handicap parking will also be available in the lower level of the parking garage.
Tuesday night’s event will be followed by the Mount Dora Parade which will be held on July 4 at 10 a.m. and will begin at the corner of Donnelly Street and 7th Avenue and end at Charles Avenue.
