Mt. Dora Parks & Recreation to Host Workshop to Discuss “Master Plan”

MOUNT DORA, Fla. —  On Thursday, September 20, 2018, there will be an open workshop for the future of the parks and recreational facilities of Mount Dora. The event is hosted by the City of Mount Dora. City officials strongly encourage citizens to give their input on the state and future development of the parks and recreational areas.

This input is going to be considered in the process of developing the future projects, so all are welcomed to attend and voice their opinion.

Mount Dora’s Leisure Service Department and their consultant, GAI Consultant’s Community Solutions Group, are meeting to put together a “Master Plan”. Their master plan is to help redesign the parks for further improvements and prioritize the wants of the public.

The event is free and welcome to kids.

The workshop will be held at the W.T. Bland Public Library at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 20.

W.T. Bland Public Library is located at 1995 North Donnelly Street, Mount Dora.
