ALTOONA — An Ocklawaha man was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Friday night according to Florida Highway Patrol reports.
Troopers responded to the area of Big Oak Road and County Road 42 where the incident took place.
According to the report, an unidentified 68-year-old man was stopped at a stop sign on Big Oak Road at the intersection of County Road 42 when he was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on County Road 42.
The victim was ejected from his motorcycle upon impact and suffered fatal injuries.
According to troopers, the victim was wearing his helmet at the time of the incident.
