Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Opens Their Doors with a Bang!

LEESBURG – The anticipation was over yesterday morning after the long-awaited grand opening of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.

The outlet store which took over the space of the old Winn Dixie in the Leesburg Market Place Plaza on North Boulevard opened their doors to the public at 9:00 am Wednesday morning offering great deals on closeout items.

People came from all over the area to take advantage of some of the great deals like the $99 Chromebook and the $399 50 inch televisions. Cars took up every single parking space in the plaza parking lot, behind the building and even along the shoulder of the road.

Inside, people wandered the isles cart-to-cart and elbow-to-elbow, slowly inching their way through the vast store. Employees constantly canvased the parking lot for any unused shopping carts to provide customers that were waiting by the door to shop.

While some people left because of the large crowd, others braved the heavy foot traffic and got great deals.

Most of their electronics were sold out within the first two hours from opening.

With a new outlet store in the area, residents now have more options to save money on household items, toys, food, seasoning, books, and even flooring such as laminate, vinyl, carpet squares, and area rugs.

If you haven’t gone to check it out, make sure you stop by to see what other deals they have. Be sure to sign up for their rewards card before shopping to save even more!
