OCALA – Traffic was shut down on Interstate 75 while Marion County Fire Rescue cleared the scene of a semi-tractor trailer that overturned late Thursday night.
According to the Marion County Fire Rescue, firefighters were dispatched to mile marker 364 on Interstate 75, between County Road 326 and County Road 318 at 10:34 pm Thursday.
When responders arrived, they found a semi truck that had rolled over off the road landing on its side.
Responders were able to get the driver of the semi out of the cab through the windshield.
The driver, who has not been identified at this time, was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Traffic on Interstate 75 was reopened early Friday morning.
