Detectives Search for Person of Interest in Montgomery Case

LEESBURG – Leesburg Police detectives are searching for 34-year-old, David Adam Mariotti as a person of interest in the disappearance and possible homicide of Bernadine Montgomery.

Mariotti is currently wanted for outstanding warrants from Lake County on unrelated charges.

Montgomery was last seen at her home on June 15. The missing person case has since been reclassified as a homicide and detectives are still investigating the details and trying to locate Montgomery’s remains.

According to Lt. Joe Iozzi, Mariotti is wanted for questioning in the Montgomery case. Mariotti is a white male, approximately 34 years of age.
