LEESBURG – Police released photos of the bicycle used by the suspect who investigators are searching for after he shot at a Leesburg Police officer Monday night and of the patrol car damaged during the shooting.
Leesburg Police Department’s Lt. Joe Iozzi released photos of from the shooting incident that occurred late Monday night when a suspect shot at a police officer during a traffic stop.
The officer, who was not injured, returned fire during the incident but was unable to verify if the suspect was struck.
Detectives are still analyzing video footage from the patrol car’s in-dash camera which will be released as soon as it is available.
