Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest in Eustis Provides Family Holiday Fun

Yamel Santiago and Richard Ruiz look through the northern pine trees to find their perfect Christmas tree at Santa’s Christmas Tree Farm in Eustis.

EUSTIS – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest in Eustis. With many holiday activities including harvesting your own Christmas tree, it’s no wonder that it has been a popular family attraction for 27 years.

The farm features 17 acres with more than 17,000 Florida pines where guests are invited to cut and harvest their own Christmas tree. For a more traditional look, 2,000 freshly cut northern trees are also available. This year they are featuring the Colorado blue spruce, black hills spruce, douglas fir, scotch pine and a fraser fir.

“The farm is so much fun and it’s become a family tradition to go out and choose our Christmas tree,” Buck Goffer said. “We make a day of it. The kids love the activities and we always leave with a gigantic tree.”

On the weekends, the farm offers a variety of activities including Santa’s flight zip line, farm animal zoo, horse and pony rides, hayrides, bounce pillow, barrel tram rides and a crazy elf maze adventure. New attractions include a water duck race, shark tooth beach and a tire mountain.

Santa also makes a guest appearance at Santa’s workshop, where kids can get their picture and tell him what they want for Christmas.

“This place is a great spot for a lot of holiday fun,” Christine Miller said. “My kids can spend all day here doing the different activities. Everyone is so nice and it’s just a great place to visit.”

The hungry elf concessions offers a unique campfire experience where guests can purchase hot dogs and s’more kits to cook over the open fire. You can also pick up some famous fresh-popped kettle corn or homemade sausages.

Weekday admission is $1 and includes entry to the farm, Christmas tree field, photo ops, hayride and petting zoo. Other attractions are open on weekends and for special events.
