The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for James H. Clark, a 77-year-old Villages resident. Clark, who is believed to be in the early stages of dementia, disappeared Tuesday, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Clark was last seen leaving his home on 3406 Forsyth Terrace in The Villages about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, heading towards the Crispers on Wedgewood Lane, said Lt. Bobby Caruthers, sheriff’s spokesman. He was wearing a green and white cotton jacket, blue jeans and a cap that reads “The Bitter End” on the back.
Caruthers added that Clark recently moved to the area and should be driving a beige Subaru Forrester with a “War of 1812” Maryland vanity license plate and tag number BF1294.
