Troopers Arrest Twins with Stolen Car and Identities

LAKE CITY, Fla. – Troopers arrested twins after spotting a stolen vehicle in the Busy Bee Gas Station parking lot Tuesday afternoon and found more than just a stolen vehicle.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, a Trooper spotted a vehicle in the Busy Bee parking lot located at 4772 US 41 that matched the description of a vehicle that had been reported stolen on May 30 out of Ft. Lauderdale.

The Trooper made contact with the vehicle and found 26-year-old twins, Alex and Alain Pierre, inside.

After placing the twins under arrest, Troopers discovered $230 in counterfeit cash, stolen credit cards, 165 stolen identities, drug paraphernalia, burglary tools, and 188 stolen checks, two of which were in the amount of $5,007.

During the arrest, Troopers also discovered that the Pierre twins were on felony probation on unrelated charges.

Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Columbia County Jail where they are being held without bond.
