WalMart Shooting Victim Identified, Detectives Continue Search for Shooter

LEESBURG – Officials have released the identity of the WalMart shooting victim from Monday night. According to Lt. John Herrell, 44-year-old Mark Allen Estes was fatally shot in what detectives say is a possible drug-related incident last night in the parking lot of the Leesburg WalMart.

An autopsy is being conducted on Estes for further evidence. Estes was found fatally shot in the parking lot after police received several 911 calls around 7:15 pm Monday night.

Detectives continue to interview witnesses and follow many leads. No description of the shooter has been officially released, however, police say they are searching for a 2011 red 4-door Toyota Camry with a handicap license plate, tag number YL 46 X.
