Woman Accused of Dunking Child in Toilet Under Investigation

LEESBURG, Fla. — A woman accused of dunking her 3-year-old son in a toilet is under investigation by the Leesburg Police Department and the Department of Children and Families according to Leesburg Police.

In a video shared on social media, Kaitlyn Wolf is seen dunking her 3-year-old son in a toilet as she pulls his arms behind his back while he cries for her to stop.

The video went viral in local “word of mouth” groups on Facebook and caught the attention of officials.

Lt. Joe Iozzi of the Leesburg Police Department stated that the department is investigating the accusations and has seen the video. Iozzi also stated that the Department of Children and Families has been notified and is also investigating the allegations.

“The detectives would have to get with the State Attorney’s office to see what applicable charges would apply if any,” stated Iozzi an a message to Central Florida Wire. “Also DCF is involved with the case as well to determine any other child welfare issues to determine if they need to be taken out of the home.”

“She hasn’t been arrested at this point, I don’t believe. That is certainly a possibility if the State Attorney’s office determines that would be the appropriate thing to do to charge her with neglect or abuse or something relevant to what she was doing,” stated Iozzi.

Central Florida Wire was unable to reach anyone at the Lake County State Attorney’s Office due to the office being closed for the holiday weekend.
