Woman arrested after she reportedly stripped in front of children

UMATILLA – A 32-year-old woman was arrested after she reportedly stripped in front of a group of children and then spat towards responding Lake County sheriff’s deputies.

Elizabeth Leigh Boston, of Umatilla, was charged Saturday with indecent exposure as well as disorderly intoxication. She was released from the Lake County jail the next day on the charges after posting a $1,500 bond.

According to an arrest affidavit, Boston arrived at a Holly Court home in Umatilla on Saturday afternoon, extremely intoxicated – and screaming and cursing as adult and children were in the yard.

She then began to take off her shirt and bra.

She went back into the home before law enforcement arrived – only to come back out fully nude.

The affidavit adds Boston became more aggressive as deputies approached her and there was a “profuse smell” of alcohol. When deputies started to get her dress, she allegedly spit towards them.

Deputies eventually got her detained and took her to jail. According to the Lake County jail’s Web site, Boston’s previous charges before Saturday included drug possession, DUI, hit-and-run and resisting arrest.
