Thompson, 33, and A. Glayzer, 26 were traveling on County Road 124A Near US 301 with sirens and emergency lights activated just after 8 pm on Saturday when a Lexus driven by 62-year-old Villages resident, Jonathan L. Turk pulled out in front of them causing their patrol car to collide with the Lexus.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Thompson was rushed to The Villages Regional Hospital. Thompson&#8217;s passenger, Deputy Glayzer, was also taken to The Villages Regional Hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Turk suffered minor injuries as well and was also transported to The Villages Region Hospital.
