{"id":207578,"date":"2015-07-28T08:41:17","date_gmt":"2015-07-28T12:41:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-1.tempurl.host\/?p=207578"},"modified":"2020-05-21T15:27:27","modified_gmt":"2020-05-21T19:27:27","slug":"5-people-killed-after-box-truck-runs-stop-sign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/5-people-killed-after-box-truck-runs-stop-sign\/","title":{"rendered":"5 People Killed After Box Truck Runs Stop Sign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HERNANDO, FL &#8211; According to Florida Highway Patrol Troopers, a 2007 International Box Truck was traveling south bound on Citrus Way when the Tampa driver, Randy Escobar-Barrera, 22, ran a stop sign at the intersection of Citrus Way and Ponce de Leon Boulevard.\u00a0striking a pickup truck traveling west bound on SR 700.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened at around 10:30 am on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The 2006 Chevy pickup truck was hauling a utility trailer at the time. The incredible impact of the accident caused the pickup to catch fire killing all 5 occupants of the pickup.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_207579\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-207579\" style=\"width: 636px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-207579 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress-1.tempurl.host\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/07\/EP-150729492.jpg\" alt=\"The 2006 Cheverolet Pickup truck caught fire and burned killing all 5 occupants.\" width=\"636\" height=\"477\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-207579\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The 2006 Cheverolet Pickup truck caught fire and burned killing all 5 occupants.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Escobar-Barrera\u00a0suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Bayonet Point Hospital, according to Troopers. Escobar-Barrera&#8217;s\u00a0passenger, 41 year old Ariel Baez, was transported by ambulance with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The five people killed have not been publicly identified yet.
