{"id":207925,"date":"2016-06-14T15:15:57","date_gmt":"2016-06-14T19:15:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-1.tempurl.host\/?p=207925"},"modified":"2017-11-04T16:04:55","modified_gmt":"2017-11-04T20:04:55","slug":"pedestrian-killed-state-road-200","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/pedestrian-killed-state-road-200\/","title":{"rendered":"Pedestrian Killed Trying to Cross State Road 200"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>OCALA &#8211; \u00a0<\/strong>A pedestrian was killed earlier this afternoon (Tuesday) when he attempted to cross a busy intersection on State Road 200 on his motorized scooter.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Ocala, Florida\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=29.1877777778,-82.1305555556&amp;spn=0.1,0.1&amp;q=29.1877777778,-82.1305555556 (Ocala%2C%20Florida)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Ocala<\/a> Police, the 95-year-old man, Ricard W. Field, was attempting to cross Stare Road 200 at the crosswalk of Southwest 44th Court when he was struck by a 2007 Chevy Silverado headed westbound on State Road 200.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the Silverado, 26-year-old Edward McDaniel of <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Belleview, Florida\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=29.0613888889,-82.055&amp;spn=0.1,0.1&amp;q=29.0613888889,-82.055 (Belleview%2C%20Florida)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Belleview<\/a> had a green light and did not have enough time to stop when he saw Field. Ocala Fire Rescue pronounced Field dead on the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Field was a resident of the Brentwood at Fore Ranch Assisted Living Facility.
