Aaron Dion, a 38-year-old Ocala man, was traveling eastbound toward Deputy Trammell when he noticed the Deputies lights and siren and slowed his 2001 <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Ford F-Series\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fordvehicles.com\/trucks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Ford F-150<\/a> and pulled over to the shoulder. That is when 37-year-old Jeremy Pruett from North Carolina, who was traveling eastbound behind Dion failed to notice Dion&#8217;s truck on the shoulder of the road.<\/p>\n<p>Pruett&#8217;s 2013 Dodge Dart struck the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Pickup truck\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pickup_truck\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">pickup truck<\/a> in the rear sending Pruett in a 180-degree spin into the westbound lane in front of Deputy Trammell&#8217;s SUV causing the MCSO patrol vehicle to strike the rear of Pruett&#8217;s Dart. After the impact, Pruett&#8217;s vehicle came to a stop in the roadway blocking traffic while Deputy Trammell&#8217;s vehicle left the road and hit a large tree.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the amount of damage to the vehicles, all drivers involved walked away with minor injuries.
