LEESBURG –<\/strong> The Lake County Sheriff’s Office<\/a> is still looking for the tenth suspect in a drug smuggling<\/a> scheme at Lake County Jail<\/a>.\u00a0Earlier this week nine people were arrested<\/a>, including a Tavares teacher’s aide, \u00a0and the daughter of a local \u00a0candidate for Sheriff. Several were already incarcerated, including a suspect in a local homicide case.<\/p>\n

LCSO Officials are actively seeking the whereabouts of Fabian Sanchez. His last known address was in Monteverde<\/a>, however, he is believed to be in the Leesburg<\/a> area. \u00a0Sanchez is wanted for solicitation to introduce contraband into a county detention facility.<\/p>\n

Arrested and charged were: Scott Beekman, Lance Hanson, Jesse Hall<\/a> Clifton Crews, Steven Belisle, \u00a0Jasmic Holden,and Jacqueline Brown. Also arrested was Christine Obregon, daughter of Andres Obregon, a former sheriff’s deputy<\/a> and border patrol agent, who is on the August 30 primary ballot for Lake County Sheriff. \u00a0 David Mariotti , already incarcerated, was also charged. He is currently a suspect in the disappearance of Bernadine Montgomery of Leesburg. \u00a0Her body has still not been found. Sheriff’s officials say many of those arrested have long criminal records.<\/p>\n
