Officials arrived on scene to find a middle aged white male who had been shot in the parking lot.<\/p>\n<p>According to Lt. John Herrell of the Lake County Sheriff&#8217;s Department, officers provided medical aid to the victim but were unsuccessful. The victim passed away from a gunshot wound at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses reported that a late-model red Toyota Camry with at least two occupants opened fire in the WalMart parking lot fatally injuring the victim. Lt. Herrell was unable to provide a physical description of the suspects, however, advised that the suspects fled the scene from the south exit on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives investigating the scene believe the shooting may have been\u00a0drug-related\u00a0after finding drugs on the scene. Detectives have not released the identity of the victim pending notification of next-of-kin.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives are reviewing WalMart surveillance videos and following leads provided by witnesses.
