LEESBURG –\u00a0<\/strong>After almost two months, the second suspect involved in the fatal shooting at the Leesburg WalMart<\/strong><\/a> has been arrested according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

The shooting that occurred in the WalMart parking lot on September 19 earlier this year resulted in the death of 44-year-old Mark Allen Estes in what deputies believe was a drug deal gone bad.<\/p>\n

According to the Sheriff’s Department, an undisclosed amount of marijuana\u00a0was found near where Estes was shot along with a .40 caliber shell casing.<\/p>\n

After the shooting, witnesses told detectives they saw a red Toyota Camry with a handicap tag leaving the scene in a rush just moments after the shooting which was later discovered to have been stolen out of Sumter County<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was later found abandoned<\/a><\/strong> behind a home in Leesburg. After searching the vehicle, detectives found latent fingerprints belonging to 24-year-old Roderick Haynes, Jr.<\/p>\n

With the new evidence, an arrest warrant was issued for Haynes, however, according to anonymous\u00a0tips, Haynes had already fled the state to Valdosta, Georgia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Detectives followed several tips that tracked Haynes through Georgia, Louisiana<\/a>, and back to Leesburg where he was apprehended on November 10th.<\/p>\n

Haynes was located at a home on Samir Lane in Leesburg where deputies served the arrest warrant and took him into custody.<\/p>\n

Haynes was transported to the Lake County Jail where he is currently being held without bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 5th for arraignment on a felony murder charge.
