{"id":212049,"date":"2017-04-21T21:11:27","date_gmt":"2017-04-22T01:11:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-1.tempurl.host\/?p=212049"},"modified":"2017-11-04T14:55:41","modified_gmt":"2017-11-04T18:55:41","slug":"villages-resident-critical-condition-collision-school-bus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/villages-resident-critical-condition-collision-school-bus\/","title":{"rendered":"Villages Resident in Critical Condition After Collision with School Bus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bushnell, Fla. &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>A Villages resident is in critical condition after colliding with a school\u00a0bus in Bushnell Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The collision caused\u00a0deputies and firefighters to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress-1.tempurl.host\/portion-us-301-closed-accident-school-bus-motorcycle\/\">close down a section of US Highway 301 near County Road 532<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>while officials worked to quickly clear the scene.<\/p>\n<p>According to a Florida Highway Patrol Report, The 78-year-old Villager, who has not yet been identified pending next of kin notification, was traveling northbound on US 301 toward the intersection of County Road 532.<\/p>\n<p>A Sumter County school bus was stopped at the intersection with its stoplights deployed unloading children.<\/p>\n<p>A second motorcycle, driven by 78-year-old Villager Larry Caron was stopped behind the bus waiting for the bus to finish unloading the children.<\/p>\n<p>The unidentified Villager failed to stop for traffic and colliding first with the other motorcycle and then with the school bus.<\/p>\n<p>Once responders arrived, the unidentified Villager was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>Larry Caron, the driver of the second motorcycle was transported to The Villages Regional Medical Center where he was listed with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, there was only one child and the bus driver on board during the collision.
