Bus drivers will remain at the stop to pick up passengers and depart at the scheduled time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Route 1 Eastbound and Westbound<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passengers will benefit from a reduced arrival and departure time at Lake-Sumter State College, which will be set at 25 minutes after the hour. This change will also improve arrival and departure times at Via Port Mall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The service changes will take effect Monday, July 31.<\/p>\n<p>LakeXpress provides public transit service throughout the county, connecting residents, visitors and employees to educational facilities, recreational activities and employment opportunities. It operates\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_577127600\">5 a.m. to 8 p.m.<\/span>,\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_577127601\">Monday<\/span>\u00a0through Friday. Buses do not run on Saturdays, Sundays and on federal holidays.
