Trooper C. Fields responded to the scene located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 301 and Cornerstone Road in Webster at approximately 5:40 a.m. Wednesday morning in reference to a crash.<\/p>\n<p>According to his report, Fields stated that 27-year-old Richard Brent Henderson was traveling eastbound on U.S. 301 in his 1999 Ford F-250 pickup truck in heaving fog as he approached the intersection at Cornerstone Road.<\/p>\n<p>Fields stated in his report that Henderson failed to stop at the intersection and traveled into the path of a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 27-year-old Monica Montanez who was 33 weeks pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>Montanez suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Lakeland Regional Medical Center where her unborn child was later pronounced deceased as a result of injuries Montanez sustained during the crash.
