The dogs are up for adoption, fostering, rescue, or a shelter break foster. Photo Credit: Lake County Animal Shelter<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Magnolia is a 15 year old &#8220;super senior&#8221; who was found drowning in a pond by the Lake County Sheriff&#8217;s Office. She is described as quiet, laid back, and occasionally a bit slow. Shela, age 9, is a lab mix stray who came into the shelter in late September. She has not yet been claimed.<\/p>\n<p>Suki is a female chow mix who was returned to the shelter after an adoption last year, having been attacked by her owner&#8217;s other dogs. Suki has treatable dermatitis that is not contagious. Ladybug was turned into the shelter when her owner was left homeless. She is described as a wiggle worm who &#8220;loves everyone but cats.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Persons interested in fostering, adopting, or rescuing any of the shelter&#8217;s available pets can reach out to the Lake County Animal Shelter at their office located at 28123 County Road 561 in Tavares or by calling (352) 343-9688.
