{"id":216380,"date":"2017-10-31T13:41:55","date_gmt":"2017-10-31T17:41:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-1.tempurl.host\/?p=216380"},"modified":"2018-01-23T16:03:01","modified_gmt":"2018-01-23T21:03:01","slug":"man-arrested-charged-manslaughter-dui-involved-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/man-arrested-charged-manslaughter-dui-involved-crash\/","title":{"rendered":"Man Arrested and Charged with Manslaughter in DUI-involved Crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ST PETERSBURG, Fla &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Florida Highway Patrol says they have arrested a man in connection with a DUI-related crash on I-275 in the early hours of October 31.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers say 45 year old Malo Derone Blackshear of St Petersburg was driving his 2007 Mercedes Sedan on southbound I-275 just south of 38th Avenue. Blackshear was speeding, and overtook a 2001 Hyundai Sedan from behind. The two vehicles collided, rotating to a final rest on the inside and outside shoulders of the road, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The second vehicle was being driven by 23 year old Nona Evans of St Petersburg. Reports state Evans was taken to Bayfront Hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Evans&#8217; passenger, 27 year old Kasey Gibson of St Petersburg, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Officers later arrested Malo Derone Blackshear, who was found to have been drinking prior the crash, on charges of DUI-related manslaughter.
