{"id":218891,"date":"2018-01-29T22:11:59","date_gmt":"2018-01-30T03:11:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-1.tempurl.host\/?p=218891"},"modified":"2018-01-29T22:11:59","modified_gmt":"2018-01-30T03:11:59","slug":"four-arrested-string-vehicle-burglaries-silver-springs-shores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/four-arrested-string-vehicle-burglaries-silver-springs-shores\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Arrested in String of Vehicle Burglaries in Silver Springs Shores"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SILVER SPRINGS SHORES &#8212; Three teens and an adult were arrested in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in Silver Springs Shores over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>According to detectives with the Marion County Sheriff&#8217;s Office, the four were connected to at least nine vehicle burglaries.<\/p>\n<p>When deputies responded to a home located on Cedar Trace Way in reference to an attempted burglary on Sunday. the victim stated that a vehicle turned onto his road and two boys got out of the vehicle and were allegedly attempting to enter two vehicles parked in front of the home.<\/p>\n<p>The victim then stated that he began to yell at the boys at which time another person from inside the vehicle stuck his hand out of the window holding a firearm and shot three times.<\/p>\n<p>After getting a description of the vehicle, deputies were able to locate it at the Wal-Mart in the Shores.<\/p>\n<p>When deputies made contact with the vehicle, they found 21-year-old Cameron Gezel and 15-year-old Cameron Vascovich in the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Vascovich, who was driving the vehicle at the time of the traffic stopped was also found to have no valid driver&#8217;s license.<\/p>\n<p>After speaking to the two suspects, deputies learned that there were two other suspects involved in the burglaries, 15-year-old Tavis Whitman and 16-year-old Gavin Locke.<\/p>\n<p>Vascovich and Gezel told deputies they had just dropped Locke and Whitman off at Wal-Mart.<\/p>\n<p>After a short search of the store, Locke and Whitman were also taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p>Gezel was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail where he is currently being held in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
