{"id":219815,"date":"2018-09-06T19:58:35","date_gmt":"2018-09-06T23:58:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-1.tempurl.host\/?p=219815"},"modified":"2018-09-12T13:59:32","modified_gmt":"2018-09-12T17:59:32","slug":"lake-county-welcomes-new-communications-director","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/lake-county-welcomes-new-communications-director\/","title":{"rendered":"Lake County welcomes new Communications Director"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>TAVARES, Fla.<\/b><span lang=\"X-NONE\">\u00a0\u2014 Lake County Manager Jeff Cole\u00a0<\/span>recently\u00a0<span lang=\"X-NONE\">announced his appointment of Elisha Pappacoda to the\u00a0<\/span>position<span lang=\"X-NONE\">\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>Director for the Office of\u00a0<span lang=\"X-NONE\">Communications<\/span>, beginning\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_211354162\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Sept. 8<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"X-NONE\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_4523973996484802775MsoBodyText\"><u><\/u><u><\/u><span lang=\"X-NONE\">\u201cElisha has developed strong working relationships with the media and stakeholder groups throughout Lake County and Central Florida<\/span>,\u201d said Cole<span lang=\"X-NONE\">.\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<span lang=\"X-NONE\">She has guided our outreach and external communications, and she has a strong passion for and commitment to Lake County.<\/span>\u201d<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_4523973996484802775MsoBodyText\">In her new role as Communications Director, Pappacoda will be responsible for the daily oversight of the county\u2019s media relations, social media, graphic design, and website development.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_4523973996484802775MsoBodyText\"><span lang=\"X-NONE\">Pappacoda started her career with Lake County in January 2014 as the Public Information Officer.<\/span>\u00a0Before coming to Lake County, she worked as a television planning producer and a newspaper assignment editor.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_4523973996484802775MsoBodyText\">She is a member of the Florida Public Relations Association \u2013 Lake County Chapter, was awarded the Lake County Community Advocate of the Year in 2017 for her work with Guardian Ad Litem, is the recipient of two Florida Festival &amp; Events Association\u2019s SunSational Awards and holds several certificates related to emergency response from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the State Emergency Response Team.
